Happy, happy Thursday to all you cool cats and kittens. (Is that trademarked?) Welcome back to another Impressive Stuff Thursday. As always, click on what interests you, skip what doesn’t, and forward this email to others who might find interest as well. Love you all. See you Tuesday!
Moft iPad Stand — Moft makes these really low-profile, feather-light stands for laptops, phones, and tablets. I picked one up for my iPad Mini 6 since I like using it without a case to type up sermon notes and sometimes write these newsletters! The material is nice and sturdy yet light and soft to the touch. It works via magnets and re-usable adhesive pads.
City Alight - There Is One Gospel — My wife was dying for this new worship album to drop. I’ve been listening pretty much every day since it came out and it does not disappoint! The short 8-track album is beautiful and, like all City Alight songs, filled to the brim with Truth. Listen in for encouragement this week. And per usual the quality is just top notch.
Samuel Streetlife — My wife is going to hate me, but I have a new obsession - street photography. I’ve always been enamored by it but lately I’ve become addicted to watching street photographers on YouTube with Sammy Street Life being my favorite. Based in Hamburg, Germany, this Ricoh GR ambassador (we will talk quite a bit about the Ricoh camera in future content — teehee) creates great videos around street photography. Notably, he produced this really neat docu-series of videos on his channel where he traveled to other countries meeting up with other Ricoh GR shooters to showcase their work and how they shoot. Photographer or not, this is pretty entertaining content. Oh, and he’s pretty funny too.
Be Real — I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now, but it’s a mixture of SnapChat and Beme (RIP). Each day, this app prompts you at a random time to snap a pic with your front camera and your back camera and you only have 2 minutes to do it. It then gets sent to either your friends or the public (you choose this in settings). Technically you can take your photos whenever you want after the 2 minute prompt but you can’t see your friend’s posts until you post yours. It’s a fun little app and I currently have 2 friends 🤓 (shoutout Tristin and Maggie). I doubt it’s the next TikTok but it’s a fun little way to keep up with what your buds are doing in real-time.
The Coolest YouTube Channel Ever! — This last link is here for two reasons. One, I want more subscribers. Two, I ran out of “interesting stuffs” to share. I’m really excited about my channel right now and have been absolutely loving hitting that record button lately. I’ve got lots of video ideas in the pipeline that I think you’ll enjoy. So, subscribe to my YouTube Channel if you haven’t already and I will love you long time. ❤️
