Saturday morning we packed the car with the stroller and the baby girl and headed to our nearest zoo - Mill Mountain. It is a pretty underwhelming zoo but we realized it was perfect for Lina at her age (almost two). We were there for about an hour and a half and were able to see all the animals and even get a bite to eat at the little bistro.
The images in this Photo Diary are JPEGs pulled from my Sony a7iii and edited in VSCO. As I mentioned previously, I am experimenting in shooting JPEG to see what kind of shots I can get directly from the camera’s processing power. So far, I’ve been really pleased.
Nostalgia... Visits to my grandparent's house in Roanoke in the '50s , and Mill Mt. at Christmas with its giant star. I don't think there was a zoo there then. Simpler days. g
