I can relate to this. I just terminated a four year living arrangement, which is the longest I've stayed in one place for a very long time. During that time I accumulated an apartment full of furniture, all of which I had to get rid of. It was a ridiculous hassle - in the end, I ended up giving it away for free, mostly on the day I left. On the other hand, now that I've sloughed off all of my personal possessions, I'm free to go where I will.
It wasn't really a choice. Contract ended, no more job, no more income, couldn't afford the apartment anymore. But, I can afford to live for quite a while in a second-world/developing country.

Well, he's building an audience of like-minded angry racist White Grieving unemployed anti-vax conspiracy-theorizing incels. I'm not sure "cynic" is the most informative adjective to describe his target audience.
I often feel I have too many positions that I use as an excuse to stay put, and wonder what it’d be like to get rid of it all and not be sedentary. I love the idea of not having to feel responsible for stuff, but I do like the discipline I’ve developed because I have visualized a life I want to build and started building. Hard to say which is best.
Also very cool with the guest writing, I love that idea, may have to reach out to him one day!

The things you own really do end up owning you.
Wow. You all are extreme! But I love the discussion and the nomadic lifestyle for those able to do it!

This concept is entirely foreign to any musician.
